    Day 1:

    Marrakech to Zagora desert via Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and Draa Valley

    2 days Marrakech desert tours to zagora Sahara desert starts at 7:00 AM by crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 meters altitude ) , towards the village of Ait Benhaddou with it’s fortified Kasbah classified as UNESCO world heritage since 1987. With the help of a local guide you will have the opportunity to learn more about the magic and history of the place and walk to the top of the hill to admire the whole village. Afterwards, we will be heading to Ouarzazate, known as “The Gate of the Sahara” to visit the beautiful Kasbah of Taourirt (home to the former Caid Pacha Glaoui) and the museum of Cinema . After lunch , we continue our desert trip to the city of Zagora, where camels await to take you to the sahara desert camp just in time to enjoy the majestic sunset and take memorable photos. Once you arrive at the desert camp, you are welcomed by the staff, given you tents and gather for a mint tea session. The night in the desert camp has a clear sky and you can see countless stars. After a nice homemade dinner, we gather around fire to enjoy a session of singing, dancing and laughing around fire, sharing beautiful moments and forget the world.

    Day 2:

    Zagora Sahara Desert to Marrakech

    The second day of Zagora Sahara desert tour from Marrakech will start with an early wake up before sunrise to see the first lights of the day in the Sahara desert . After a typical breakfast in the desert camp of Zagora,you ride back the camels to meet your driver, then start our journey back to Marrakech, you will pass via Ouarzazate and have free time for lunch in a local restaurant, In the afternoon, we continue our desert tour via the Atlas Mountains to arrive back to Marrakech around 5 pm..

    Please note: Zagora does not offer big dunes compared to Erg chebbi Sahara sand dunes in Merzouga or Erg chegaga. Zagora is a black and rocky desert.

      Our tour guide Tooks us on our wonderful journey. When we reached the sahara desert, we had an hour long camel ride to a charming campsite. We we’re greeted with music, warm tea, and fantastic company. The following dinner was delightful and we had an amazing time star gazing and watching the sunrise. Highly encourage! Fantastic experience!
