    Day 1:

    CASABLANCA to FES VIA RABAT

    Desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakecch via the imperial city of Fez and Merzouga sahara desert will commence by visiting Rabat. Drive to Meknes and see the old ramparts, the Moulay Ismail royal stables, Bab el Mansour and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum before we continue our journey to Fez for the first overnight.

    Day 2:

    HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL TOUR OF FES WITH A LOCAL GUIDE:

    You will meet a local guide in the riad and start to explore the oldest of Morocco‘s imperial cities. Fes is an important religious, intellectual and cultural centre .You will start with the royal palace with its ‘tightly closed doors, eggshell façade and pine-green Saracen tiles then the Mellah (Jewish quarter), the bleu gate and after that you will go to the Fes El Bali (the old medina).you will start with the Andlous Quarter to see the Andalous Mosque which was built in the 9 th century then the Kairouyiene Mozque which was built in 857 .Afterwards you will go to the tanneries to see where leather like jackets ,bags are made also to see the process by which animal skins are rendered supple and rot-proff. after lunch, you will meet the driver somewhere outside the Medina to drive around the Medina for seeing the stunning panoramic views of the Medina from uphill. And after that drop off back to the riad..

    Day 3:

    Fes to Sahara Desert via Ifrane, Middle Atlas Forest and Merzouga

    After breakfast we leave Fes tozard Merzouga sahara desert by crossing the plains of Saiss towards the Cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains past Ifran and Azrou to Midelt, where you will stop for lunch. Carry on crossing Ziz River driving past thousands of sky-scraping palm trees and fortified Kasbahs to Erfoud, then to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, where you will ride camels to witness the sunset over the dunes and overnight stay in the Sahara desert camp. Dinner will be a traditional tagine, soup, drink delicious mint tea, listen to drumming Berber music while watching stars and rising moon in the breathtaking sahara desert. Overnight at your sahara desert camp.

    Day 4:

    Sahara Desert to the Dades Valley via Tinjdad and Todgha Gorge

    Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, possibly the best moment of Merzouga desert, than you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you will have shower and meet your guide.
    The road trip will feature one beautiful scene after including the stunning oasis of Tinghir where you will be able to take a walk along Todgha river bank visiting Berber villages and learning about the life style of the local inhabitants before you visit the magnificent Todgha Canyons and have lunch on the spot.
    In the afternoon, drive along the Kasbah road to Dades Valley where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the fortified Kasbahs before you arrive to your hotel in Dades Gorges.

    Day 5:

    Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and the High Atlas Mountains

    After breakfast, drive along the Valley of the Roses to Kalaa Mgouna where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the Rose water cooperatives and learn how the locals prepare rose scented perfumes based on distilled rose water.
    We continue to Ouarzazate by Skoura oasis famous for its date palm trees, then to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou where you will have lunch before a visit of the Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site, that has been used as a set for various Hollywood movies, fashion and commercial shooting.
    In the afternoon, we begin our road trip through the Atlas Mountains past Tizi Ntichka Pass passing by various Berber villages with houses built with stones and mud. You immediately notice that life here never changed centuries ago !! and most of the locals are shepherds. We arrive to Marrakech late afternoon .
