No visit to Morocco is complete without a Trip to the Sahara Desert!
If you are visiting a luxury campsite, they do provide some toiletry items for you. However, if you prefer a special brand you should bring that with you. For a desert trek, only pack what you absolutely need. You will be allowed to store some of your bags in a hotel room while you spend the night in the desert, so bring a small bag to transfer your sleep clothes, extra clothes for the next day and some toiletries.
Toiletries:
Bring a small supply of your favorite everyday items:- Shampoo & conditioner
- Lotion
- Soap
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Sunscreen
Additional luxuries:
- Wet Wipes
- Toilet paper/ Kleenex tissues
- Small towel for after the camel ride
- Lip balm
- Sunglasses
- Extra pair of socks
- Baggy pants or yoga pants for the camel ride
- Long sleeve shirt and sleep pants as PJs
- Sweatshirt
- Headache medicine
- Upset Stomach reliever
Sleeping arrangements:
Mattresses and blankets are supplied by the tour operators, so no need to bring your own tent or sleeping bag. If you want to bring your own sheet or sleeping bag liner, you can – just make sure you aren’t bringing too much stuff as everything you bring camping has to be carried with you on the camel’s back!
